Middlebury College women’s soccer player Lauryn Torch (Bronxville, N.Y.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week.. Torch posted a stellar 2-0-1 record in net last week for the Panthers, allowing no goals over 290 minutes of action. She opened the week with four stops in a 2-0 win over Keene State on Wednesday, then made two saves in a 2-0 victory against Wesleyan on Saturday. Torch closed the week with eight saves in a scoreless tie with Skidmore on Sunday afternoon.
